toothpaste collage B.pngI didn’t have a great time growing up, well, my teeth didn’t. I had teeth overcrowding and braces. But apart from having teeth that were out of shape, my teeth also suffered a problem of another kind ━ they were naturally yellow. No, I kid you not. From childhood photos to the ones at the dentists, my teeth were always yellow.

Since I couldn’t change my genes, I was always on the search for whiter teeth. From teeth stain removers to whitening strips, I was game for anything. The main problem I had with these were that they weren’t a daily solution. I wasn’t a fan of whitening toothpastes then because I felt they weren’t “minty” enough, and seriously, spearmint or peppermint flavours aren’t that enticing.

When Ora2 first sent me their latest toothpastes to try, I was intrigued. The Japanese brand is known for its whitening toothpastes, but what got me interested was its flavours (and its extremely kawaii packaging!). With yummylicious flavours such as Apple Mint and Peach Leaf, I was sold. (For the record, they were also minty enough!).

For this limited edition collection, the brand has collaborated with J-POP sensation and kawaii icon, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (whom, by the way, is also adored by the likes of Katy Perry and Lady Gaga). Expanding on the brand’s Stainclear line of toothpastes, these whitening stain removers use a two-pronged system to tackle teeth discolouration.

In using a high-performance silica to first clean and polish your teeth and then protecting it with a stain-control agent, Ora2 says this toothpaste is your answer to whiter teeth free from ugly yellow stains.

But seriously, even if your teeth are already pearly-white, the cute packaging and delicious toothpaste flavour (peach is my personal fave!) makes it stand out from all the other whitening toothpastes on the market. And from a picky vain pot, that says something!
