With the wide variety of beauty products available in the market these days, it’s not uncommon for many of us to fill a drawer (or two) with serums, moisturisers and other grooming essentials that we love.

Then, there are those who have a dedicated closet or an entire shelf of their precious skincare and makeup. One that they’re proud to show to their friends in real life as well as share on their social media accounts. Here are three such women whose obsession with beauty has caught our attention.

This former stewardess turned beauty content creator boasts a 65K-strong following on social media. Her Instagram handle is a testament to her love for, well, skincare.

At any one time, she owns about 20 face serums and five eye serums. Over the years, she has also amassed a sizable SK-II Facial Treatment Essence collection to rival any department store counter.

It was during her days as a Singapore Airlines cabin crew that Leanne’s passion for beauty started. Back then, when she travelled to a new destination, she would seek beauty recommendations from her senior colleagues. “I still remember the day when I walked into the first Sephora store I saw in Paris,” she recounts. She walked out with half a dozen cleansers from French beauty brand Clarins.

While taking a break from work, Leanne began taking photos of some beauty products that she loved and sharing them with her sisters. They then suggested to her to start an Instagram account to share her own tips and photos and overtime, her following grew.

Now, as a beauty influencer, Leanne tries countless beauty products regularly but the transformative powers of a particular product will always have a special place in her heart.

“There was a time when I had acne and I was looking for something that could help to clear them,” she shares. “Nothing seemed to work until a beauty advisor passed me a sample of SK-II Pitera Essence.”

Since then, whenever the beauty brand releases limited-edition designs of the fan-favourite product, she will “collect” them. She has amassed a collection of “miracle water” that spans two decades through to the present day.

Her other favourite beauty product to collect is serums. “I have about 20 face serums and five eye serums at any one time,” she shares.

Her combination skin type doesn’t just require products that provide proper hydration but also lifting and renewal properties. Which is why she uses numerous serums that are effective and she uses them based on her skin condition and needs.

“My favourites include Sisley Advanced Ecological Compound, Chanel Sublimage L’Extrait, Augustinus Bader The Serum, Clarins V Shaping Facial Lift and Guerlain Abeille Royale Double R Renew & Repair Advanced Serum.”

She has also made it a point to choose products in recycled, recyclable and refillable packaging. To minimise waste (while elevating her shelfie), the skincare enthusiast has cleverly upcycled beauty packaging and used them as vases and makeup storage.
