Face masks weren't going to stop some of the music industry's biggest and brightest stars from turning a hair and makeup look. From pin-straight sleek hair, to full-blown rock chick smoky eyes, here are some of the best hair and makeup looks from the Grammys 2021 red carpet.

Lizzo

1/7

Looking like a prom princess from the '80s, Lizzo made sure her hair and makeup tied in with the metallic details of her dress. If you look closely, you'll realise her hair was sprayed with silver glitter. And to prove that you don't need to spend a lot of money on makeup to look good, Lizzo's lashes were actually only US$8. Her makeup artist used Kiss Lash Couture Matte Black Faux Mink Lashes in Matte Sheer if you're interested!

Dua Lipa

2/7

We had to take a double-take when Dua Lipa appeared on the Grammys red carpet because the pop star looked so much like Cher! Wearing a stunning cut-out dress from Versace, Lipa chose a sleek, centre-parted hairstyle alongside shimmery eyeshadow that matched the colour of her dress.

Beyoncé'

3/7

Breaking a major Grammy record by clinching her 28th Grammy award (the most by any musician ever!), Queen B received her award in a quintessential Beyoncé' look, voluminous honey-blond curls, and a sun-kissed, bronzed makeup look to boot. Her Schiaparelli gloves also deserved a special shoutout with its built-in gold, gilded manicure.

Billie Eilish

4/7

Appearing in her signature neon green roots, Billie Eilish stuck to a minimalist makeup look, choosing to let her hair and nails take all the attention. For her manicure, Eilish chose extra-long pale pink tips adorned with the same lace pattern as seen on the rest of her outfit.

Phoebe Bridgers

5/7

Halloween came early for rock star Phoebe Bridgers. The musician went with grey-blonde locks and oxblood lipstick that further played up with the gothic vibes of her skeleton gown.

H.E.R

6/7

H.E.R also played up a '70s vibe with her hair and makeup look with centre-parted curls and matching eyeshadow. The bold lilac and gold cut crease on her eyelids is a work of art and is worth a special mention.

Doja Cat

7/7

Doja Cat has never been one to shy from A Look, and the Grammys was no exception. The musician went for a rock-inspired look with a full-on smoky eye and an '80s mullet with baby bangs.
