5 new beauty releases that need your skin’s attention right now

Just one day more and we’re well into the month of August. But, before that happens, we need to talk about the five new releases that M.A.C has in store for us.

Following their first-ever matte liquid lipstick launch and recent K-pop vibe collection with street wear designers Steve J and Yoni B, M.A.C has hinted at more exciting new releases this month. We’re talking about exclusive launches that are only available in selected Asia countries, a brand new type of eyeliner and more. Excited? Us too.

Bold & Bad Lash

Starting tomorrow, you can get your hands on the all-new Bold & Bad Lash mascara that promises full volume on both upper and lower lashes. What’s really unique about this is that it comes with two different brushes AND formulas (gotcha, you thought they were gonna use the same formula for both brushes, didn’t you?) that are specifically designed for top and bottom lashes.

The plush larger brush delivers instant volume to your upper lashes while the smaller brush is tailored to create definition and volume for your lower lashes. Pretty Innocent exclusive regional launch

A regionally requested trend collection (yes, M.A.C heard you), the Pretty Innocent range will be available in Singapore from 3rd August onwards. Featuring five repromoted shades of Tendertalk Lip Balm and four new Casual Colour pots, the Pretty Innocent range is all about moisturising your lips with a subtle hint of colour.

If you haven’t heard, the Tendertalk Lip Balm is a smart lip conditioner (which is really important for conditioning and repairing chapped lips) that creates a personalised tint based on your body temperature. You can expect Candy Wrapped (sheer pink), Teddy Pink (sheer bright pink), Pretty Me Up (sheer coral), Play With Me (sheer red) and Side Dish (sheer plum) to be featured.

As for Casual Colours, it is a lightweight and creamy emollient formula that adds a flush of colour to your lips and cheeks. The four new shades include Pretty Innocent (bright shocking pink), Love Lock (mid-tone coral) Tease (bright coral) and You Make Me Blush (bright red).

Roller wheel liner

Roller what? Yes, eye liner. The first-of-its-kind, this innovative liquid eyeliner comes in a spinning wheel applicator, which promises to give constant and even liquid lining. Bonus: The Filigree wheel absorbs just the right amount of formula for a smooth and continuous line.

Metallic Lips

MAC Girls

While this isn’t slated for release in Singapore till the 1st of October, we’ve heard so much about it from our Western counterpart that we can’t wait for the palettes to be out. Featuring six new special deco palettes, each set is themed with a personality - think Rockin’ Rebel, Mischief Mix, Fashion Fanatic, Basic Bitch, Prissy Princess or simply, Power Hungry.
