The skin microbiome, an ecosystem of microorganisms that live on it, needs prebiotics and probiotics to stay in balance, which helps skin health. That’s what Hera’s renovated Cell Essence does. I pat it into skin after cleansing, where it absorbs quickly and helps boost skin strength. And for a hydration boost, I place essence-soaked cotton pads (which come with the product) all over my face for a few minutes.
