5 ways a tube of clear mascara can help you save some money

While mascaras are mainly used to volumise your eyelashes, there are plenty of other ways to utilise them. And in doing so, you'll cut back a considerable amount of spending on other makeup products you don't actually need. Here are 5 reasons why a tube of clear mascara may be the ultimate gamechanger amidst our stash of other products.

1. Apply on your bottom lashes

Black mascara on bottom lashes are usually prone to smudging so if you want to get that doll-eyed look, get yourself a tube of clear mascara.

Not only does it add volume to your bottom lashes, they're also perfect for a day time look!

2. Use it as a mascara primer

Want to add a little more drama to your eye makeup look? Simple! Add a coat of clear mascara just before applying your black mascara. it not only primes your eyelashes, it also helps to reduce clumping.

3. Use it to tame your eyebrows

Forget about getting pomade to keep your eyebrows on fleek. Clear mascara can easily fix that problem and it's much more affordable too!

Simply swipe some all over your brows once you're done filling them in and they'll stay in place all day. 

4. Use it to intensify your mascara

Once you're done applying two coats of your preferred mascara, apply a clear mascara coat to keep things from smudging.

5. Seal your eyeliner in

Want to prevent your eyeliner from smudging? Here's a tip: dip an angled brush into your clear mascara tube and apply it over your eyeliner. 

This works best when you're using a gel or pencil eyeliner.
