I have a broad face with a squarish jawline and I’ve always kept my hair long and straight to ‘hide’ it. But I really want to cut my hair short. How can I do it to flatter my face shape?

Throw the old rules that certain haircuts suit certain face shapes out the window. Dennis believes they work in theory, but if you fancy a certain style, go for it. All you need is the confidence and overall style to pull it off. By overall style I mean if you’re going to get a gamine crop and your features are, let’s just say, not very delicate, you’ll need to put in some effort in your makeup to enhance the look – In this case, some eyeliner and mascara, and a dash of lipgloss will do the trick.
