Melissa: “Anybody can have any hairstyle,” says Dennis Seah, a freelance stylist who cuts the hair of many a Her World staffer. “It’s all in your attitude.” Sounds cliche but is nevertheless true. Throw the old rules that certain haircuts suit certain face shapes out the window. Dennis believes they work in theory, but if you fancy a certain style, go for it. All you need is the confidence and overall style to pull it off. By overall style I mean if you’re going to get a gamine crop and your features are, let’s just say, not very delicate, you’ll need to put in some effort in your makeup to enhance the look – In this case, some eyeliner and mascara, and a dash of lipgloss will do the trick.
