Use your go-to tinted moisturiser or cushion compact for a non-oily, radiant skin finish. We’ll skip the glossy lids on this one – they’ll melt in the heat – but keep the metallic blue waterline and bronze eyeliner on the upper lashline. Finish with a fuchsia gradient lip – 15 minutes, tops.

We’re in love with this pretty pairing of girly coral and cool navy on velvety matte skin spotted at the Ti:baeg show. Go lightly on the coral for the lids and cheeks and use a lipstick with a moisturising, satin finish. (One like Chanel’s revamped Rouge Coco lipstick, $48, will do the trick.) Tightline and apply a black mascara to the upper lashline. But for the lower lashline, keep the eyeliner to just a third of the outer corner, and use a blue mascara instead. Finish off with a bit of glitter on the aegyo-sal – the little rim of muscle found just beneath the eyes.

#3 Mag & Logan

K-Beauty isn’t always about dewy skin. Case in point: This gorgeous look from Mag & Logan. In a short interview and how-to video done in collaboration with Korean magazine Ceci and beauty vlogger Kyung Sun, M.A.C senior makeup artist Byoun Myeong Suk explains that similar tones were used on the cheeks and lips to give an overall matte look. The only glossy sheen was found on the eyes, but we suggest replicating the shine with a translucent glittery eyeshadow for a long lasting everyday look instead.

Not sure how to pull off a sophisticated berry lip for work? Take inspiration from the Jarret show, where models were given K-Beauty gradient plum puckers, matched with satin skin, lightly contoured eyes and thin eyeliner drawn on both the top and bottom lashlines.

If you’re a loyal red lip lover, we’ve got something for you, too. This look from Ordinary People is easily achieved in 15 minutes. Start with a dollop of tinted moisturiser mixed with an illuminator like Burberry’s Fresh Glow in Nude Radiance, $70, and set it with powder on the T-zone to keep the shine at bay in humid weather.

Fill in the brows, then use a combination of brown and gold eyeshadow on the top and bottom eyelids, slightly winging it out at the outer corners. Line the top and bottom lashlines with a brown eyeliner and finish with a velvet red lippie like YSL Beaute’s Rouge Pur Couture in N1 Le Rouge (Kiss & Love collection), $49; softly blend it out at the edges and you’re done.
