Here’s what happened at our recent Her World x Westgate x Sulwhasoo event

We invited readers to unleash their summer glow with Sulwhasoo and they came prepared for some amazing beauty tips. This was the third event at Westgate shopping centre for our Beauty Club members, with a chance for them yet again to learn from experts and sample a range of exciting beauty products.

Held on 31 July, guests arrived by 7pm and were treated to pastries as well as refreshing beverages prepared by Sulwhasoo.

Once everyone had settled in – and tucked into the delicious tidbits – the event proper began with an opening speech by Her World Beauty Editor Letty Seah.

It was then time for what everyone was waiting for – the summer skin care demo by Sulwhasoo’s beauty expert, Jervon.

She shared a number of important tips such as how to layer your skincare products and also gave a demo on how to create a simple, heatwave-friendly K-idol makeup look.

This extensive demo lasted 45 minutes, with so many important tips shared to help conquer our harsh summer heat, while ensuring your skin stays refreshed, hydrated and protected.

Products that she used in this demo include First Care Activating Serum, Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream, UV Daily Sunscreen, Perfecting Cushion and Perfecting Lip Colour. 

Once the enlightening session was over, guests had the chance to ask follow-up questions or get Jervon to elaborate on any tip that they were most interested in. For those who didn’t have any queries, they were free to wander around the store and pick up their favourite Sulwhasoo products. 

Our lucky guests also had the incentive of additional gifts with purchase, an exclusive deal for this event’s attendees. Anyone who spent a minimum of $150 received a three-piece gift set (worth $57), with a Gentle Cleansing Foam, First Care Activating Serum and Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream.

And guests who spent at least $300 picked up a nine-piece gift set (worth $166) with the brand’s bestsellers such as Essential Comfort Firming Cream, Signature Ginseng Facial Soap and Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Eye Cream. 

As if this wasn’t enough to make our guests smile, they also walked away with a door gift each as they left the event, consisting of a travel-sized version of Sulwhasoo’s First Care Activating Serum and UV Daily Fluid Sunscreen + First Care Activating Mask (1 sheet). And, of course, a copy of Her World too!
