As far as hair colour trends go, red has reigned supreme for the year 2022. The trend has been picking up steam recently, especially after Gigi Hadid's stint at the Met Gala last year, after which we started noticing more A-list celebs following suit, sporting the trending shade.

Of course, as we head into a new year, most of us are looking into experimenting with new shades, and after cooping up at home during the pandemic, it's clear that people are more daring to try things that will bring them out of their comfort zones.

And while some might think that red is limited to one shade, there are, however, different tones to choose from. Think — strawberry blonde, shiny copper and rich burgundy, the options are endless. But more importantly, it's important that you do your research to find out which shade suits you best! Because let's be real, changing your hair colour is a HUGE commitment and a lot can go wrong.
