From their outfits to their hair colours, Korean girl group Blackpink is no stranger to starting new beauty trends and putting their own spin on current looks. Most recently, leader Jisoo debuted a new hair colour for her "Flower" music video, swapping out her signature brunette mane for red dip-dye locks. For their headline Coachella 2023 set, Lisa and Jennie, were seen sporting darker hair colours while Rosé was in her usual shade of blonde. Ahead, we look back at all of Blackpink's hair variations (well before they switch things up again, that is).

Did the orange flowers serve as inspo for Jennie's bold hair transformation? Back in 2022, Jennie veered off the typical hair colour change of brown and blonde and opted for  fiery, orange strands. Another member who sported the blazing colour was Lisa in the 2017 music video As If It's Your Last.

Red: Jisoo

Jisoo is typically seen with either dark brown or black hair.  So it was a welcomed surprise when she painted the ends of her hair in a cherry hue for the music video of her solo debut track "Flower".

Rosé sported the flaming shade in their Ddu-Du Ddu-Du era while Lisa went for a more cool-toned red in How You Like That.

Tip: To maintain such strong vibrant colours, use a dry shampoo to reduce the frequency of your hair washes.

Blonde: Rosé

We can't talk about the Blackpink girls and their hair colours without mentioning Rosé's signature golden locks. But did you know that Jennie once experimented with platinum blonde hair?

Tip: With blonde hair, using a purple shampoo is important to remove any brassy tones and keep the hue vibrant. Hair treatments and masks can also help to nourish hair back to good health.

Instead of committing to a brand new hair colour,  face-framing highlights à la Jennie allow you to try out the colour first. Jennie reignited the '90s money piece trend when she debuted this look in 2020.

Lisa has also sported a similar highlighted look but in the style of underlights (where the bottom layer of the hair is dyed).

It's easy to transition from blonde to silver, ash grey and other cool-toned colours.

Purple: Jisoo

A year after their debut, Jisoo swapped her signature raven locks for a deep purple hair colour that later faded to a pastel lilac.
