Frightful face: Make Up For Ever Halloween horrors

The hullabaloo around Halloween's our favourite kind of fun: It's the only time of the year when we can really go at the warpaint and commit any number of makeup mishaps we please.

Make Up For Ever's encouraging you to go batty over beauty with its series of scary workshops, held at its too-cool-for-school, exposed brick Pro Loft studio. Round up a bunch of girl friends and get your witch face on with the Make Up Buffet ($30 per person), an all-you-can-apply, two-hour free-for-all frenzy where you get to pile on as many falsies and facial prosthetics as you want.

Alternatively, if you'd prefer looking more vampy sexy than all-out crazy, lean back and let the experts do it for you with Make Up For Ever's Halloween Makeover ($70-$150 per person).

All you need to do is make an appointment, bring along a picture of your desired look (I'll be gunning to look like Mother Monster's Pierrot-inspired mug on her "Applause" cover art), and Make Up For Ever's magic will do all the work for you. Have fun!

The Make Up For Ever Make Up Buffet will run from October 26 - 31. Private sessions are capped at 6 participants per session. Halloween Makeovers are available now till October 31. Both activities are by appointment only.
