Here’s the thing about beauty products: they’re expensive. So, if you’re trying to save more money with the products you use, here are some handy tips.

Use a spatula

Spatulas don’t just make it easy for ou to dig out the product from your jar of cream, it also keeps things clean and hygenic for you and prevent cross contamination of products.

Mist your face before applying skincare

After getting out of the shower, mist your face so that it opens up your pores and dampens your skin. This preps skin for better absorption and maximises the efficacy of your expensive products.

Squeeze the essence from sheet masks into bottles

Sheet masks are soaked in concentrated serums that moisturise, hydrate and pamper your skin so don’t let them go to waste. Instead of applying your sheek mask on your face for 20 minutes and tossing it out, make sure you apply the remaining essence on your neck, arms, and everywhere else that needs some moisture. Alternatively, squeeze some of it into a bottle before applying it onto your face and make sure you get all the goodness out of the packet the mask came in too.

Use your hands where possible

Unless it’s an exfoliating toner, use your hands whenever possible whenever you’re applying beauty products onto your face so it doesn’t go to waste on a cotton pad. Once you’re done applying the products on your face, make sure to apply the remainder on your hands onto your neck and arms too.

Alternatively, use a spray bottle

If your toner or essence has a watery consistency, try putting it into a spray bottle. Not only are you able to spritz on your products more efficiently, you’re also preventing wastage.
