4 trendy new ways to get creative with your eyeliner

DOUBLE WINGED LINER

This is the simplest look of the lot to achieve – just draw an extra fl ick at the outer corners of your eyes, above your usual winged eyeliner. So easy, but unexpected.

BOLD BLOCK EYELINER

Take a breather from the usual cat-eye look. This graphic block liner is clean yet eyecatching. Don’t worry about getting precise lines – just draw a rough block fi rst, then erase any unevenness with a pointed-tip cotton swab dipped in makeup remover.

GLITTERY EYELIDS

They may sound overwhelming, but they make for a super-flattering and Instagram-worthy fi nish. You can get the look two ways: ink on a bold wing with glittery eyeliner or, if you dare, go all out by applying cosmetic glitter over an adhesive like clear lash glue. Just make sure you shape the glitter on the outer corners of your eyes to get a cat-eye eff ect.

GRUNGY SHADOW

Want a smoky eye that’s more edgy and less glam? Go for ultra intense smudged eyeshadow on the eyelids, then use kohl eyeliner to line the area just below your lower lash lines. Keep the rest of your makeup simple.
