In addition to its exquisite salon care, it also offers pampering extras like a great hair and scalp massage during the hair wash, as well as little touches, like a free nail colour change or buff and shine services, while you get your hair done.

The winning treatments we love 

Winner: Best Hair-friendly Bleaching
The treatment: Creative Colour, from $120

Get the hair colour of your dreams, from subtle natural tones to bold, electric hues. After a thorough consultation that included pictures and a colour chart, director stylist Dila carefully selected three tones of purple that not only complemented our skin tone, but also gave depth and texture to our very straight hair. 

Despite undergoing two rounds of bleaching, our hair still felt soft to the touch and had very little breakage too. We really appreciated the use of a protectant spray on the scalp before the bleach was applied, as well as the top-up Olaplex treatment during the bleaching process and after (at extra cost), as that really saved our scalp and hair. 

The result: A good balance of deep, bright and light tones that even got us compliments from the other stylists, staff and customers at the salon.

Winner: Best Face-flattering Haircut
The treatment: Cut, from $60

While every Leekaja stylist is well-trained and experienced, we had the pleasure of having our hair done by technical instructor and senior stylist Jun Park. Known for cuts that best showcase your natural features – he even takes into consideration your collarbone and neck – Jun credits his expertise to years of working in some of the top salons in Gangnam, Seoul. 

Taking into consideration our low-maintenance style needs, Jun gave us a fuss-free cut that, while simple, was not boring, thanks to curtain bangs that flattered and softened our facial features. He even told us what to expect as our hair grew out, and when it would look its best.

The winner: Best Hydration Treatment
The treatment: Miracle Aqua Treatment, from $280

A cool treatment, literally. It uses an ice-cold straightener to seal in naturally-derived ingredients like Quebec water, meadowfoam seed, and macadamia nut and avocado oils, to repair and protect damaged locks. 

The seven-step process starts with a hair wash, which is followed by the application of the protein-infused treatment that repairs hair and enhances its elasticity. The hair is then steamed, before the uber-cool ice-cold straightener comes in to seal in all the goodness. To finish, hair is blow-dried and styled.

The treatment infuses each strand with moisture, leaving hair soft, silky smooth and healthy. The best bit? Our hair looks bouncy and shiny, not flat. Ideal for dry, damaged and even bleached hair, this can be included as an add-on treatment after your colour job.
