You’ve done the routine – layered the serums, patted in the moisturiser – and by noon, your skin still looks flat. Texture lingers. The dullness hasn’t quite lifted. And that lit-from-within glow? Still feels just out of reach.

The issue often isn’t what you’re putting on your skin, but how much of it actually gets absorbed. Glass skin has evolved past the high-gloss, wet look of a few years ago. The new version is quieter: hydrated, elastic, luminous.

That’s where BMF The Aesthetics People’s Glass Skin Illumine+ comes in. Named Best Dewy-Perfection Facial at the Her World Spa & Hair Awards 2026, it focuses on helping skin take in, and hold onto, hydration more effectively, combining hands-on techniques with oxygen infusion technology. Fun fact: the facial is also Mediacorp artiste and Friend of BMF, Rebecca Lim’s go-to treatment for a hydrated and clear complexion.

What happens during the treatment

Spa Awards reviewer Arina Roslan went in with dry skin and a tendency towards blackheads – a combination that calls for both deep hydration and careful extraction.

The session begins with a lymphatic drainage massage using the GSI Massage Cream, formulated with skin-illuminating actives. It’s designed to boost circulation, reduce fluid retention and prep the skin for what follows. A double cleanse and face massage complete this phase – unhurried, and noticeably relaxing.

Then comes extraction. For anyone wary of this step, Arina describes it as “one of the first few times I had a very gentle extraction” – a detail that stands out.

The centrepiece is the PicoJet Infusion. This is a high-pressure oxygen system that delivers a customised ampoule (brightening or lifting, depending on your skin needs) deeper into the skin.

The treatment ends with the GSI Centella Mask with HydraGlow Activator, which comprises centella asiatica and hyaluronic acid to calm, support the skin barrier and lock in moisture, followed by a relaxing neck and shoulder massage.

The result

Post-treatment, Arina found her skin felt “immediately smoother and softer”, with visible improvement in texture. What the Glass Skin Illumine+ does well is build hydration that holds, delivering the kind of natural, dewy glow that doesn’t fade by the end of the day.
