We’re entering the undetectable era of aesthetics. According to Dr CE Kuek, Co-Founder of Illuminate Medispa, the focus is shifting away from overfilling and trend-chasing towards minimal, non-invasive treatments that deliver maximum results. These subtle enhancements can be achieved through skincare, microneedling, facials, and ultrasound-based technologies.

This doesn’t signal an anti-filler movement. Rather, the emphasis is on natural-looking results—enhancements so seamless, no one can tell anything has been done.

Botox and skin boosters remain firm favourites

If 2025 is any indication, Botox is here to stay. By relaxing overactive muscles, it smooths fine lines and expression wrinkles on the face and neck, earning its reputation as one of the biggest bang-for-your-buck treatments.

Skin boosters have also surged in popularity over the past year. By delivering hyaluronic acid and salmon sperm (PDRN) into the skin, they help restore hydration and plumpness—leaving complexions looking fresher and more youthful. Results are temporary, however, and require regular maintenance.

The rise of non-invasive body (and face) sculpting

Another treatment gaining traction is Onda Pro. Non-invasive and downtime-free, it tightens, lifts, smooths, and reduces fat on the body—making it ideal for overall sculpting.

With the introduction of Precision-GigaWave (PGW) technology, Onda Pro’s benefits now extend to the face, targeting concerns such as double chins, chubby cheeks, and sagging or poorly defined jawlines. While visible improvements can appear after a single session, results are best sustained through multiple treatments. Onda Pro can also be combined with other procedures and works particularly well alongside skin boosters and laser treatments.
