This weekend, starting from 9 June, caffeine addicts and hipsters will descend by the hordes upon the F1 Pit Building for the inaugural Singapore Coffee Festival, and they will be greeted by a bonanza of coffee purveyors, specialist bean suppliers and cafes, all waiting to tout their brew. But what’s a non-coffee-drinker with #FOMO to do?
You don’t have to miss out on all the fun just because you can’t tell the difference between a flat white and a latte (is there really a difference?), or would prefer drinking beer over a cold brew. As somebody who doesn’t drink coffee at all, I found myself having a ball of a time at a sneak preview of the festival. Yes, there’s much to eat, buy and do at the Singapore Coffee Festival other than drinking coffee. And that, in our books, is a sign of a great event.
Singapore Coffee Festival runs from 10-12 July at the F1 Pit Building. Tickets start from $18. For more information, visit http://sgcoffeefestival.com.sg/ticketing.
