Salvatore Ferragamo’s Ballerina Shoe collection for Spring/Summer 2015 brings a modern twist to one of its most iconic designs – the famous round-toed suede ballerina shoes created for Audrey Hepburn in 1954. And we’re loving the style update – besides the usual patent leather, the shoes also come in modern textures such as laser-cut leather and suede denim.

While the shoes are big on style, they thankfully don’t compromise on comfort. Each shoe features a special Opanca sole inspired by the moccasins worn by Native Americans, which covers the heel and forms a single piece with the upper. The flexible slip-lasted design and adjustable elasticated strap on the upper also ensure ease of wear.

The shoes are priced at $820 upwards, but they’re definitely worth the splurge. Available at all Ferragamo boutiques.
