Wild Wild Wet and 3 other water parks in Singapore to take your kids to this weekend

Children love splashing around in water on a hot day, so taking them to a water park is a fantastic way for them to get all their energy out while having fun! We all know that Singapore’s theme parks can barely compare to the likes of Disney world in Hong Kong or Florida. But that doesn’t mean that we have any less of the fun! Personally, if you ask me to choose between a theme park and a water park, I’d much rather go to the ones that end with a splash, literally.

1. Port Of Lost Wonder

If you’ve always wanted to bring your little one to a safe and not-too-adventurous water park, then Port of Lost Wonder is where you should go first to acquaint your child to the world of water parks.

Not only was this built to keep your kids occupied, there are some activities that encourage them to learn more about the nature characteristics of an island. Plus, it’s located at Palawan Beach, so you could always head to the beach before or after your activities for another round of fun.

2. Splash N Surf

Other than the usual water play area and a water park classic, the lazy river, Splash N Surf is unique because you can bring your little one to try a hand at surfing.

At their Stingray Clinics, you can bring any junior that’s below 12 years old to try surfing. But of course it’s not limited to just kids. If you’re up for it, you can have a go at surfing too.

3. Wild Wild Wet

Wild Wild Wet is probably the most famous water park in this list. Awarded with the Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor in 2013, families still frequently visit this water park for their rides. If you’re an adrenaline junkie, or if you just love extreme slides, then you have to try out their slides like the Slide Up, Torpedo and The Water Works.

But don’t worry, if your little one isn’t old enough or isn’t comfortable with the slides, there are always other options like the Shiok River or the Yippie! area, which was made for toddlers.

4. Adventure Cove Water Park

The Adventure Cove Water Park is one of the newer water parks in Singapore and was also chosen as one of the top 10 water parks in Asia by TripAdvisor. They’ve got a combination of adrenaline-pumping slides for those who are older and other tamer activities for young kids.

Some of the slides that you must try are the Spiral Washout, the Dueling Racer slide (a crowd favourite) and the Whirlpool Washout, and yes, that is as scary as it sounds!
