Serves 4-6

Ingredients
1 packet Ren Shen Dun Ji Tang
2.5 Litres Water
1 Whole Chicken
100 grams Lotus Root, peeled and thinly sliced
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste

Directions
1 Place all the ingredients and water in pot, making sure the chicken is fully submerged.
2 Bring soup to a boil and simmer for 60 mins or until lotus root is tender.
3 Season to taste with salt and pepper.
4 Ladle the soup into individual serving bowls, garnish with spring onion or coriander leaves and serve hot.
