1 piece of cardboard
1 plastic plate
3 rubber bands
Fabric tape


1 Cut out a narrow rectangle from the cardboard to form the neck of the banjo; cut out an irregular shape for the headstock. Paint the cardboard pieces and plastic plate, and leave to dry.

2 Stretch three rubber bands over the plastic plate.

3 Paste the headstock over one end of the banjo’s neck, and use a piece of fabric tape to secure the other end of the neck behind the plate.
