New hotel openings are a dime a dozen these days, but instead of the usual luxe resorts, we’ve set our sights on Banyan Tree’s Cassia Phuket, a new serviced residence with full-fledged hotel amenities opening in October 2015.
At Cassia, you can choose between chic and stylish (think sleek modern furniture and sunshine-yellow walls) one- or two-bedroom apartments, each with a separate living room and fully-equipped kitchen – perfect for groups of friends, or small families. Some of the apartments also feature lofts, which provide panoramic views of the surrounding lagoon, ocean and parks.
There’s plenty to see and do at the hotel, which boasts two swimming pools, a gym, a spa, a kids’ club called “Play Play” (boasting plenty of toys, video games and soft play areas) and direct access to a private stretch of Bang Tao Beach, just to name a few. The hotel is also located within the larger integrated resort of Laguna Phuket, so there are plenty of other amenities nearby – think over 30 F&B establishments and a shopping complex.
Don’t feel like whipping up your own meals? Breakfast – which is served to your doorstep in cute little tiffin carriers – is on the house. You can also refuel at the hotel’s casual dining concepts: Market 23 Café, which serves up coffee and snacks, and Street Bar, a full-service lounge offering cocktails and bar bites.
Room rates at Cassia start from THB3,400 ($134.57) per night. What’s more, as part of the hotel’s Grand Opening Big Bang package, you’ll get to enjoy two nights for the price of one. Simply book by November 30, 2015, and stay between October 21, 2015 and January 30, 2016 (excluding December 20, 2015 to January 9, 2016). Find out more at www.cassia.com.
