The restaurant’s name may be a puzzling mouthful, but this dessert makes no pretenses with its down-to-earth and comforting flavours. The green-on-green combination marries a pistachio lava cake with a velvety scoop of pandan ice-cream, and lashed with pandan crème anglaise sauce.

If you’ve ever grumbled about your chendol melting too quickly and getting all diluted, this might be your answer. This ice cream parlour’s take is a scoop of red bean and coconut milk-flavoured ice cream that is topped with chendol bits and red bean paste, and drizzled with gula melaka.

Helmed by two bakers who met at the famous Le Cordon Bleu, it should come as little surprise that this reinterpretation of the traditional black glutinous rice dessert is given the French treatment.
