If You Have Double Eyelids … like Clarice Lim
YOU SHOULD: Pick shades that complement your skin tone – there’s no need to worry about anything else. You won’t go wrong with brown, plum and khaki green.

STEPS TO ENHANCE YOUR EYES:

Step 1: Sweep a light-coloured eyeshadow over the whole eyelid, fading it towards the brow bone.

Step 2: Dab a darker shade on the outer eye corner and blend inwards so it covers one-third of the eyelid.

Step 3: Dust plum or brown eyeshadow on the outer one-third of the eyelid, keeping it below the fold of the eyelid, and along the outer half of the lower lash line.

Step 4: Line your eyes close to the lash line.

If You Have Uneven Eyelids … like Beauty Editor Simone Wu
YOU SHOULD: Use eyeliner to balance out your single and double eyelids.

STEPS TO ENHANCE YOUR EYES:

Step 1: Sweep a highlighter shade across the eyelids, from lash line to brow bone.

Step 2: Blend a darker shade over just the eyelids to give eyes more dimension.

Step 3: When lining the single eyelid, keep your eye open and dot along the lash line. Connect the dots and fill in the space along your lash line.

Step 4: When lining the double eyelid, keep eyeliner just below the fold of the lid. When both eyes are closed, the eyeliner will look thicker on the single eyelid.

If You Have Hidden Double Eyelids …like Chelsia Tan
YOU SHOULD: Keep your eyeshadow visible by blending it higher up on the eye socket.

(Left: Chelsia without eye makeup, Right: Chelsia with eye makeup)

STEPS TO ENHANCE YOUR EYES:

Step 1: Starting from the lash line, blend a light-hued eyeshadow over the eye socket, but keep it below the brow bone.

Step 2: Use a darker shade on the outer one-third of the eyelid and blend it upwards on the eye socket.

Step 3: Line eyes, beginning at the inner corner. Extend the eyeliner so the outermost point just touches the fold of the eyelid. The line should look like a narrow triangle.

Step 4: Add a touch of light shimmer in the middle of the eyelid to make eyes look bigger.

If You Have Single Eyelids … like Alethea Seet
YOU SHOULD: Use dark colours so your eyes look bigger and wider.

(Left: Alethea without eye makeup, Right: Alethea with eye makeup)

STEPS TO ENHANCE YOUR EYES:

Step 1: Starting at the inner corner of the eye, apply dark brown eyeshadow on the upper lash line, using a thin liner brush. Lightly smudge the eyeshadow so it looks like a blunt line.

Step 2: Brush the same eyeshadow on your lower lash line, starting from the outer corner and working inwards.

Step 3: Dab a medium-toned eyeshadow, like a cobalt blue or purple, over the brown eyeshadow and blend. Add more on the outer one-third of the eyelid.

Step 4: Looking straight into the mirror, mark the highest point of your upper lash line with an eyeliner. Then, starting from the inner eye corner, apply eyeliner all the way to the mark, then extend the line so that it runs parallel to the ground.
