The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to a baby girl on May 2, prompting outpourings of jubilation across England and the rest of the world. And British Airways, the commercial carrier of the royal family, is taking the celebrations one step further by offering young passengers (under the age of two) free flights to London and Sydney.

There’s something for parents as well – the airlines is also offering adults promotional return fares to both cities. Return fares to London in economy class start from $1328, while return fares to Sydney cost $618 upwards. It’s the perfect excuse to take a family trip, we say!

Book by May 13 and travel before November 30 to be eligible for the offers; infants must also be accompanied by a paying adult on promotional return economy fares to either city. Visit www.britishairways.com to book.
