The fourth edition of SmartKids Asia, Asia’s largest educational kids fair, will be held this weekend from March 20 to 22 at Singapore Expo Hall 5. This year’s edition will feature more than 150 exhibitors, alongside a slew of educational and enrichment activities for parents and kids alike. Here are five reasons why you and your child should head on down to the exhibition this weekend: 

1. Your child will get to experience free trial classes 

There will be free trial classes in topics such as maths, science and music, conducted by vendors such as Stamford Education and Musical Genesis. Pre-registration is required here

2. He’ll also have tons of fun at The Fairly OddParents playzone!

Fans of Nickelodeon series The Fairly OddParents will be delighted to hear that there will be a 500sqm playzone dedicated to themed activities, such as a giant inflatable castle, life-sized puzzle games, photo booths, and even daily screenings of The Fairly OddParents episodes. 

3. Stand a chance to meet SpongeBob SquarePants and Kai-Lan

There will be 15 passes available daily for meet-and-greet sessions with Nickelodeon characters SpongeBob SquarePants and Kai-Lan. Visitors can stand a chance to win these passes by participating in Nickelodeon’s stage games and activities. 

4. There’ll be lucky draws with attractive prizes to be won

A bi-hourly lucky draw will be conducted at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm daily, and the prizes up for grabs include educational toys sponsored by Nathaniel’s Toys and Southern BackPack. Download the lucky draw form here

5. Enjoy free ice cream and goodie bags! 

The first 1000 kids each day can redeem a free ice-cream at Swensen’s (Booth K24). The first 500 visitors will also get a free goodie bag (worth more than $30) containing goodies like Koko Krunch, Young Scientist magazines and more! Sign up for the goodie bag here
