Muffin tops, belly fat and backfat can keep you from looking your best at a party. So here’s how you can hide it away and dress your best.

1) Belted flare dresses

The flare will help hide the fat while the belt will bring out your waist, giving you an hourglass silhouette.

2) High-waisted pants

Low-waisted pants tighten around your waist and squish your fats to the top creating the much hated muffin top. So if you have to wear pants, go for something high-waisted. The pants should be tailored, so not bunched up at the ends, fitted at the top and in-between your legs. Too loose and it’ll exaggerate your size.

3) Instead of tops made of thin, loose-fitting fabrics, go for structured tops

Thin material that falls loosely on your body will highlight the wrong curves. You definitely want to avoid that! Structured tops will hide your chubby bits and the heavy material will definitely look more expensive.

4) Peplum, peplum peplum

Peplum silhouettes work well to flatter your figure. Make sure the flare starts at your waist and drapes to hide your tummy. Either keep your legs bare or make sure you get a pencil skirt.

5) Of course add… shapewear!
