1 Save your peels of citrus fruits and add them to a jar of white vinegar, then let them sit for at least a week. Decant the liquid into a spray bottle and you'll have a homemade all-purpose cleaner that doesn't reek of vinegar.
2 For a ready-any-time cleaning rag, soak washcloths in a solution of two parts water to one part white vinegar, and store in a wide jar. Squeeze the juice from a wedge of lemon into the vinegar, and add two drops of tea tree oil to mask the odour.
3 Make your own glass cleaner by stirring together equal parts lemon juice and water.
