Can’t decide what needs to go? Let us help you.

You might think some of these items are useful, but would you really ever use them? Don’t think, just toss:
1. OLD CDS, DVDS AND TAPES
No one uses CDs anymore! You can recycle these at Funan Digitalife Mall. Read more about it here: http://www.nea.gov.sg/energy-waste/3rs/e-waste-lamp-battery-recycling/e-waste-recycling
2. CABLES, WIRES AND OTHER TECH NONSENSE
Loose cables, wires that lead nowhere, it’s time to toss it all out. Don’t clutter drawers full of useless wires.
3. OLD HANGERS
Worn, bent hangers should be replaced. Out-of-shape hangers could ruin the shape of your clothes.
4. OLD MAKEUP
Dried mascara, dried nail polish, old perfume you haven’t used in years, lipsticks stumps.
5. BILLS, TAXES, RECIPES AND OTHER OLD PAPERWORK OVER 3 YEARS OLD
Yes, it’s important to keep track of your paperwork, but you don’t have to keep them any longer than 3 years.
6. OLD SHOES
Your favourite pair of shoes could be really comfortable, but they’re probably really old and ratty. Time to toss and look for a new pair.
7. JEWELLERY YOU HAVEN'T WORN IN YEARS
When was that last time you wore that pendent necklace? Wait… Isn’t it tarnished?! Old costume jewellery tends to tarnish and turn black. Throw it out and get a couple new pieces.
8. OLD UNDERWEAR AND OTHER RATTY CLOTHES
No, you don't need that granny panty with holes at the side. Get out there and buy a new pair! Wait... Is that underwire I see popping out from your bra?! Come on! Throw out clothes that you haven't worn for years, faded and torn pieces must definitely go too.
9. HOTEL TOILETRIES
Alright, you don't have to throw away all these free toiletries. Our advice: store one tray of these toiletries for emergencies in your bathroom, but toss out all the spare. Trust us, you'll never use them.
10. WEDDING FAVOURS
Those spoons, wine corks, salt and pepper shakers that you never use? Time to get rid of those. Cutlery as wedding favours are practically useless cause there are no matching sets, and you already have your favourite chopsticks/spoon what-not. Donate them or toss them.
11. RECYCLABLE BAGS
We're talking about bags you get from conventions and other events. The ones you tell yourself to store in the car to use for groceries but never do. Yeah you're never going to use them. Toss them before their fill your home!
12. OLD CALENDARS
I'm of the belief that one home needs just ONE calender. Any spare can be thrown away. Or given to someone else I suppose.
13. EXPIRED COUPONS
Those 50% off, xx% off or one-for-one (but with a catch) coupons have got to go.
14. PAPER GOODS
Scraps of wrapping paper, old notebooks, old christmas cards, gift bags, travel brochures, all these can be recycled. You REALLY don't need them cluttering your home.
15. OLD CANDY
a) EMPTY CALORIES b) GROSS.
16. PROMOTIONAL SWAG
Anything that has a logo has to go. Personally, I have a ton of plastic fans, thumbdrives, plastic bottles and all sorts of junk. Out of my house!
17. LOYALTY CARDS
You don't need that third Koi loyalty card. All these unused cards are a deadweight.
18. BUSINESS CARDS
Sort out your old business cards and toss those you don't contact anymore or will probably never contact again.
19. OLD TEXTBOOKS AND SCHOOL NOTES
You might think your kids will use their old textbooks, but truth is, they'll probably never need to touch them again.
20. OLD JARS AND BOTTLES
Thought you might recycle glass bottles for that DIY project? You thought wrong. Do the world a favour and recyle them. Remember to clean the jars!
