XXL clutches: The functional trend we're living for this F/W '18

Having captured designers’ imagination for the F/W ‘18 presentations, the oversized clutch is set to make a huge comeback this season. Luxury brands from Prada, Isabel Marant and Givenchy were zealots of the silhouette, each spinning their own version of the bag either with embellishments such as bohemian fringing or unique styling (see: Givenchy’s tufted pillow-like Glam Slam). Others got creative, with Chanel and Marni converting oversized tote bags into clutches by having the models carry them as such.

Needless to say, we’re positively feeling the XXL clutch for its practicality. Just think of all the vitals – or non-vitals, we won’t judge – you can fit in there.

Sure, it may be considered taxing to wedge a massive clutch in between your armpits for an entire day, but next to a heavy strap bag – or worse, a micro-bag, it’s definitely worth the extra leg (or arm?) work.
