Need further proof that the Squid Game train is unstoppable? After catapulting the show’s cast member Jung HoYeon to idol status – the model-turned-actress is the most followed Korean actress on Instagram with over 19.3 million followers – the craze has shifted to the uniform of tracksuits worn by characters in the show.

Demand for the tracksuits worn in Squid Game has gone up since the show debuted in September.

Google Trends, which tracks user interest on the search engine, cited searches for “Squid Game costume” ending October 2 reached a new high. On Lazada, a quick search of the same term turns up 1,631 items ranging from the numbered green tracksuits worn by the gamers in the show to the masks worn by the guards. And with Halloween around the corner, it is only natural that demand and interest for the getup will rise.
