Cop Fann Wong's stylish looks with these picks

The Singapore actress turns 48 on Jan 27 yet she often looks stylishly on trend. Here's how you can recreate some of our favourite looks that she has been spotted in

Fun fact: Fann Wong’s first break into showbiz was after she won a Her World cover girl contest in 1988.

Since then, the distinguished actress has had many other accolades. From being the youngest to earn the title of ‘All-Time Favourite Award’ at the Star Awards to being the first Singaporean actress to star in a Hollywood movie, where she played Chon Lin in the 2003 American-Hong Kong comedy Shanghai Nights alongside Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson.

In addition, Fann is also known for her vocals, having released six albums while singing the theme songs to local productions like Brave New World and Beautiful Illusions.

Besides her established career, Fann is also married to Christopher Lee, a fellow actor. Their most notable collaboration was for the 1998 martial heroes drama The Legend of the Condor Heroes, where they played lovers.

Scroll through their Instagram accounts and youll see how loving the couple is. The couple often attend red carpet events together, always looking stylishly on point.

Here we've showed you some style tips that we can learn from the actress, who turns 48 this year, but below are 4 looks that you can copy to look as stylishly fab as she does.

Clockwise from top right: Alaia oversized wool blend sweater, US$1,384.05 from Net-a-Porter; Mango contrasting buckle belt, $12.90; Zara buttoned knit trousers, $39.90; Cluse la garconne rose gold mesh white, $169

We loved this ethereal, clean all-white look that Fann posted in November 2018 that we placed her in our monthly best dressed list. Props to Fann for power dressing in an full white ensemble because we all know how easily white outfits dirties and stains.

To cop her look, we swapped out her turtleneck for a more Singapore weather friendly Alaia sweater, while adding coloured accents with the buttoned Zara knit trousers and Mango buckle belt. To round up the polished look, we added a French-girl favourite - a watch from Cluse.

Clockwise from top right: Carolina Herrera flared bell-sleeve shirt, $1,108 from Farfetch; Accessorize maya crescent resin earrings, $21;  Dorothy Perkins green belted tapered trousers, $63.90; Omega constellation manhattan omega co-axial master chronometer 29mm, $9,450

Scroll through Fann’s Instagram and you will realise that she loves neutrals very much. And how on trend she is - just read our story here.

The actress ensures that simple, classic ensembles are never boring. Take this outfit for example, She took the classic white shirt up a notch by choosing a Carolina Herrera creation that featured flared bell-sleeves and pairing it with an emerald bell-bottom trousers.

Emerald green might be too loud a colour for some, so we picked a darker, forest green Dorothy Perkins trousers to match the Carolina Herrera shirt that we love. Finally, the Accessorize earrings add an extra touch of colour while the Omega watch impart a silvery, cool tone element.

Clockwise from top right: Mango decorative embroidery t-shirt, $29.90; Mango swiss tulle skirt, $45.90; Valentino Garavani rockstud pumps, $1,390 from Mytheresa

Even on off-days that she spent with her husband and son, Fann still impresses with a stylish ensemble that features a logo t-shirt matched with tulle skirt and studded shoes. Tulle adds a touch of delicate lightness which juxtaposes the studs’ tough edge.

Similarly, we combined a decorative t-shirt and red tulle skirt from Mango and finished the look with the iconic Valentino rockstud pumps. To add more edge to the outfit, we suggest layering a denim jacket or swapping the heels for sneakers for a casual street style look.

Clockwise from top right: Topshop x Halpern bodysuit, $126; Prada cahier leather cross-body bag, US$2,140 from MatchesFashion; Mango tie long skirt, $35.90; Zara patent finish high heel shoes, $49.90; Cartier Panthere de Cartier sunglasses, $1,140

Here’s another example of a well-styled neutral-toned ensemble from Fann. Notice how she kept the colour palette to two colours, black and brown, but contrasted the soft, sheer top with a heavier skirt from Bottega Veneta. Of course, Fann knows the importance of sunglasses to keep the eyes healthy and protected from the sun.

In similar fashion, we matched a flowy V-neck bodysuit from the Topshop and Halpern collab with a more structured skirt from Mango. Accessories finish a look - Zara nude pumps add height, Prada multi-coloured crossbody adds colour and Cartier shades to complete the look, perfect for weekend brunch with the girls
