An outdoor ceremony by the Margaret River

1/10

When fashion designer Jonte Pike and pilot Dave Morgan decided to hold their celebration at the Black Brewing Co. brewery, they engaged the help of floral event stylist Jappalin Manning of Flowertalk Perth. The result: a gorgeous outdoor setting of lush white flowers.

While white phalaenopsis orchids dyed with a hint of black were the main focus, Jappalin also used textured foliage such as pampas grass and smoke bush for a touch of rustic charm.

"The couple has originally planned on an all-white wedding, but I managed to convince them to add some varied tones, including blue and nude hues. Ultimately, they were very happy with my suggestions," says Jappalin.

A stylish, casual reception

For the reception, the couple took it indoors to the brewery's restaurant.

Jappalin turned the chic space into the perfect backdrop for a laid-back yet sophisticated soiree with majestic smoke bush centrepieces and refined settings.

"We wanted to create a setting that was a reflection of Jonte as a young and upcoming fashion designer, as well as of her stylish designs."
