Sleep is the elusive friend who we don’t see often enough. The average adult in 2016 is simply not sleeping as much as we should. Yes yes, we all know that at least 8 hours of sleep will guarantee better health, a faser metabolism, weight loss, glowing skin etc. The benefits of sleep are endless. However, that doesn’t stop us from saying we’ll just watch one more episode of Scandal or switch the lights off after researching whether flights to Tokyo have got any cheaper. Sigh, why don’t we just grab a good thing while we can?
Ladies, it’s time to go back to basics and do ourselves a favour, get yourself a bedtime routine, similar to what you had when you were a child, and whilst you’re at it, get yourself some seriously luxe sleepwear. If you’re anything like me, getting ready to go out is always the funnest part of the night (unless the music is really good), so if we apply the same principal to getting dressed to go to bed, we’re sure to be more excited for the prospect of actually sleeping, right? And, minus the sartorial prowess, here are some mighty fine practical sleeping tips too…
