Pink eyes + pink lips

1/19

Pass the pink champagne, please! well, at least the eyeshadow take of it. Makeup artist Karen pops a soft wash of pink all over the upper lids, then adds eyeliner before pencilling in the brows. To finish, a luscious nude-pink pout.

Dramatic pink eyeshadow + peach pink lips

2/19

For a more dramatic take on pink eyeshadow, extend eyeshadow upwards and outwards to give your peepers a lifted look. A darker shade at the outer corners and a lighter one on the inner corners creates more dimension. Don't forget to blend!

Silver eyeshadow + soft coral lips

3/19

You can rock silver eyeshadow without looking like Christmas came early. Go for more subtle pearlescent shine rather than full-on glitter. Makeup artist Sha Shamsi paired the look with plush, matte lips in a soft coral hue so it complements rather than competes.

Smokey eyes + brown lips

4/19

For smokey eyes you can wear during the day, think warm shades like chocolate rather than harsh black or navy. And for brown lips that don't look like a throwback to the 90s, choose a shade that complements your skin tone (warm skin tones can go for lighter, less reddish browns), and skip the skinny pencilled brows. We love the strong brows that instantly pull focus and add structure to the face.

Natural eyeliner + cherry red lips

5/19

To match her elegant celebration, makeup artist Sophia gave real bride Sze Min vibrant red lips with a touch of highlighter to glam up her look. Subtle pearly eyeshadow, a hint of eyeliner, blush, and natural-looking brows were all Sophia needed to accentuate the rest of the bride-to-be’s features. Minimal eye makeup + wine red lips

6/19

A modern approach to rocking wine red lips: Pair it with near-zero eyemakeup, save for a touch of gloss, a quick coat of mascara and just a dab of shimmer along  the waterline.

White eyeshadow

7/19

White eyeshadow instantly refreshes tired peepers and looks very chic. A little dark eyeliner adds more pop and then you have to have strong, polished brows. Enhance your glow with highlighter on your T-zone, and a hint of peach blush.

Korean-inspired peach pink

8/19

Korean brides love pink,” says makeup artist Ginger Lynette. “It’s so feminine and adds a youthful charm.” For both the upper and lower lids, Ginger fused a light gold with a soft peachy pink, working both into the crease lines to add more depth. A small flick of eyeliner at the ends made the eyes all the more alluring. Finally, a glossy, bright rose-pink lippie for a glam finish.

Korean-inspired smokey eyes

9/19

There is nothing like statement eye makeup to quickly change up your look for the evening. Update the smoky eye with a flash of purple and silver. For Asian brides with small eyes or monolids, start with a darker hue at the upper lash line and then blend it upwards and into a lighter colour to make your eyes rounder and bigger. Balance the look with a nude pink lip.

Winged eyeliner + glossy creamy pink lips

10/19

Two little winged lines can transform your look in a huge way, giving those peepers an open, brighter and lifted appearance. Add shimmery eyeshadow – a darker shade at the outer corners blended into a light hue at the inner corners – and we guarantee you’ll feel like a totally confident babe.

Mint eyeshadow

11/19

Olive skin is already warm, so you only need a slight enhancement. Apply your base with a light hand for dewy skin - anything heavy may age you.

Marie used mint eyeshadow with a refreshingly modern appeal on the upper lids, and then blended in a cool grey at the outer corners.

Shimmery brown eyes + matte pink lips

12/19

Wear a pale matte pink on your lips and then top your eyes with sheer shimmery brown shadow and a little champagne in the inner V corners of your eyes, plus lashings of mascara, for an ethereal finish.

Taupe and gold eyeshadow + burgundy lips

13/19

Pearly taupe eyeshadow on the upper lids and a touch of gold on the lower lids are subtle enough for the day and lend glamour for the evening. Lightly dust highlighter on the brow bones, nose bridge and chin to create a delicate sheen.

GregO toned down the rest of the makeup to enhance the sensuality of luscious burgundy lips, which complements a darker skin tone and evokes sophistication.

Tip! "Try Urban Decay's All-Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray and Dior's Glow Maximizer Primer for lasting makeup," says GregO.

Thick eyeliner + glossy pink lips

14/19

High-shine, bright pink lips aren't reserved for girly girls. Bring on a dose of sophistication with thick eyeliner (on the bottom lid, this tapers as you reach the centre of the eye for a widening effect), a wash of warm brown on the lids and a hint of shine on the inner corners.

Peach eyeshadow + Pink lips

15/19

Update a classic bridal look with a zesty pop of peach on the eyelids, glowing highlights, and a touch of sheen. Eyeliner and voluminous lashes create definition, while high-shine gloss on lips catches the light. Slick hair back into a chic chignon and dress it up with a floral headpiece.

Rose gold eyeshadow + red lips

16/19

Accentuate your eyes with a flash of ultra-chic rose gold and mascara, and those killer cheekbones with blush and a hint of highlighter on the apples. Finally, swipe on a rosy lippie and you're all ready for daytime glamour.

Copper eyeshadow + pink lips

17/19

For gorgeously subtle gilded eyes, Khai went with a shimmery copper on the eyelids that's gently blended out and topped with a pearly eyeshadow over the inner "V" corner of the eyes. Pretty up the look with rosy pink lipstick and gently contoured cheekbones.

Colourful eye makeup

18/19

For the more adventurous bride, consider a blend of two bright hues that'll add vibrance to a white wedding dress, or amp up an evening gown in the same hues. Against fair skin with a rosy undertone, the lime and aqua hues really pop. Keep the rest of your makeup nude and neutral.

Bronzy makeup + pale pink lips

19/19

The secret to more sculpted cheekbones is blending, says makeup artist Grego. “Sweep an apricot blush, which is universally flattering, onto the cheeks, and then blend in a bronzy contouring powder from the temples to the cheek hollows with an angled brush.

To soften smoky eyes, use a bronzy gold instead of black or grey. If a brown smoky eye is your go-to, use an earth-tone palette of shades within the same family, so you can build a beautiful, gradated eye with ease.

Sweep a darker shade nearer your lash line then go lighter towards the brow bone. And instead of eyeliner, try eyeshadow for subtle definition.
