Fashion on track! 23 OMG trains that revved up the Met Gala at full-throttle
If Rihanna’s omelette gown in 2015 was any indication, the one thing that’s trending now is the floor sweeping gowns on the likes of those on Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez and more at this year’s Met Ball. We recount 23 jaw-dropping moments here

This year’s Met Gala 2017 pays tribute to renowned Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakubo. In line with the fundraising dinner, an exhibition  named ‘Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garcons Art of the In-Between’  has been set up in Manhattan’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The exhibition showcases some 150 archival and recent creations of Kawakubo for Comme des Garçons and it’ll run from now until September 4, 2017.
While several celebrities were spotted supporting the theme of this year’s Met Gala (a round of applause for Ri Ri and Katy Perry please), most of the A-listers were spotted with super long and exaggerated trains for added red carpet drama.
Here, we take a look at some of the ones that hogged the red carpet and stole everyone’s attention.
