We know your weakness for jelly shoes. Comfortable, wet weather-friendly and a total style saver.

One of our favourite jelly shoe brands, Melissa, is stepping up its style game with Chilean contemporary artist and designer Sebastian Errazuriz.

The special collaboration was created in response to the Errazuriz’s ‘Twelve Shoes for Twelve Lovers’ – a series of shoes inspired by his exciting escapades with ex-girlfriends. Oh, how juicy! The shoes are all named according to the couple’s cute idiosyncrasies and character traits.

It made its debut showcase at Melissa’s own pop-up store during the 2013 Miami Art Basel.

From the installation, two of the styles were made into Melissa shoes – “Gold Digger” which depicts a man shouldering the weight of a shoe; and “The Boss”, which features brass knuckles on the underside of the heels.

Both designs are retailing at $590. The Sebastian Errazuriz capsule collection will be available for a limited time at the Melissa MDREAMS Pop-Up Store, from October 15, 2015 onwards.

The Melissa MDREAMS Pop-Up Store is located at Wheelock Place, #B1-05B, and will be open from October 13, 2015 until November 10, 2015.
