Jesseca Liu's wedding day - in her own words!
"As we exchanged our vows, we felt like we were the only ones there. We will remember it for the rest of our lives." - Actress Jesseca Liu shares with us in her own words all about her big day!

"Because I grew up in Langkawi and we both love the beach, we thought that having our ceremony and celebration there would be perfect. Besides, I have always wanted a beach wedding because it is so romantic.
We custom-made the seashell boutonnieres for Jeremy and his groomsmen, and dressed the venue with pastel flowers, shells, vintage metal lamps and driftwood to create a charming and more rustic resort feel," shares Jesseca.
The couple, who got closer while working together on a drama three years ago, had actually noticed each other before that without each other's knowledge!
"I found Jeremy, also an actor, quite endearing in Mediacorp’s Recruit Diaries series. That was when I became interested to know him better.
As luck would have it, we both got to know each other a whole lot better while working together in the Xinmsn web drama Who Killed The Lead about three years ago.
He said he noticed me years earlier when we’d once boarded the same company bus," adds the actress.

"Jeremy proposed when we visited the Tokyo Skytree, a TV broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida.
He arranged for the ring to be placed beside a very nice dessert dish, along with a sparkler and “Will you marry me?” written on the tray.
He knelt down for the proposal when it was served. All this happened with the beautiful views of the setting sun around us. Very romantic."

Jesseca’s accessories were custom-made by Helan Tan (www.gioielli.com.sg) to match her gowns.
For the solemnisation, the chairs were draped with lilac cotton, and had confetti paper cones tied to one side.
These were filled with seashells, petals and blue flowers.
The couple asked everyone to turn off their phones, iPads, and cameras during their ceremony, so they could enjoy the experience without being distracted or blocked.
White lanterns and strings of flowers adorned the trees for an added touch of whimsy.
"I didnt want anything too sexy. With my good friend Steve’s help, I found the perfect mermaid gown – modern, simple and lightweight enough for me to move around comfortably in on the beach and everywhere else.”
A little quiet time before the start of their festivities.
"As I walked down the aisle with my dad, Jeremy started singing Love Is Eternal by Jacky Cheung.
The sun was just setting and the whole venue looked so beautiful!
As we exchanged our vows, which we wrote ourselves, we felt like we were the only ones there. We will remember it for the rest of our lives."
Photo props and jars of old-school sweets for guests!
The reception table was decorated with framed signs and cute plastic words, while vintage lamps, flowers, candles and seashells created an even more relaxed, resort feel to the celebration.
A variety of pastel blooms and greenery vibrantly graced their reception area.
Upon their arrival at the resort, overseas guests were welcomed with a pretty pouch of goodies from the couple.
Guests held on to etched out photos of their cats at the wedding booth.
Their favours of fans and shell brooches came along with the day’s programme.
"Everything on the day was perfect. Now we're looking forward to starting our married life together!"
