Begin by gently patting on a calming moisturiser to soothe irritated skin. In the office, keep a face mist in your drawer to soothe skin and relieve redness, which is also caused by sun exposure, so always use sunscreen after moisturiser.

To neutralise redness and even out your complexion, makeup artist Larry Yeo says: “Apply a green makeup primer, the anti-redness ally that tones down flushed areas of your face.
