As fantastic as online shopping gets, nothing beats browsing in a store itself – the music, the décor, the visual merchandising – all work together to create a shopping-friendly environment.

Italian luxury accessories brand Furla knows this well, which is why it recently reopened its boutique at Paragon, unveiling its latest store concept, the first Furla store in Singapore to do so.

The new store shines with gold finishings against mint green walls, reminiscent of the 18th century villa in Bologna, Italy, where Furla’s headquarters are situated.

“This boutique is amongst the first ones in the world showing the new concept store of the brand, first launched in Asia Pacific in August 2012. It will be in line with the ambitious and significant developing plan of the company abroad,” says Giovanna Furlanetto, President of Furla.

There’s much to like about the new concept. For one, the store seems significantly brighter and more spacious. The shelves that used to sit in the centre of the boutique are now recessed into the four walls, opening up a space for two chairs and a couple of glass display cabinets.

The Furla Spring Summer 2013 collection - which will make its way into stores gradually - features plenty of black-and-white pieces, broderie anglaise-like cutouts and crisp, structured shapes that will look amazing on the shelves, we’re sure.

Furla is located at Paragon, Ion Orchard, Raffles City Shopping Centre, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre. For more information, click here.
