Ashikaga Flower Park, Japan

A 90-minutes drive north of Tokyo, CNN chose this Japanese prefecture as one of its ten dream destinations and is a definite sight to behold. The park's 150-year-old wisteria trellises span across an astounding area of 1,000m²  and give off an enchanting, otherwordly appearance. Don't miss out on this place for an ethereal wedding portrait shot! 

Best time to visit: Mid April to mid May 2019 when the flowers are in bloom (“The Great Wisteria Festival 2019 is estimated to be held from dates from April 13 to May 19)

With around 200,000 moss phloxes in bloom during April, the overall effect is that of a lush bed of pink gradations that you'd want to sink yourself in. There are also the gorgeous roses, nemophila and other blue-hued flowers in this garden. We wish we could be there to take in this stunning view ourselves.
