Its 40-feet black-and-gold Christmas tree is surrounded by a fancy carousel, with black horses in a shiny mirror finish. 313@Somerset shopping mall will replicate an authentic winter landscape – complete with chills and thrills – in a specially constructed 313 Snow Dome in the atrium of the mall on Level 1 from December 9 to 24. For every $200 spent at 313@Somerset, shoppers are entitled to a pass into the 313 Snow Dome. Each child of 12 years or younger can enter the 313 Snow Dome when accompanied by an adult with a valid pass. Shoppers can dress up in sponsored winter wear from Winter Time and snap photos against a wintry landscape.
ION Orchard has declared 39 days of Christmas festivities from November 18 to December 26, 2011. Throughout this period, shoppers can scale ION’s six-storey high Christmas tree which will glow from the inside out, and take in a superb view of the Orchard Road festive decor. Also, make sure you catch late-night blockbusters for free on ION’s giant LED screen. X-Men: First Class will screen at 10pm on Saturday, November 26, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be shown at 10pm on Friday, December 30.
