Coach serves up major Nineties obsession with Signature Jacquard logo pieces

It’s no secret that fashion has the power to transport us to a different era or different places. Especially during today’s pandemic, there’s no easier escape but through fashion. Coach PreFall 2021 asks us just that -- to take a ride on an imaginary road trip and to channel our desire to travel and explore again, although this time it’s a travel through, well, time.

The collection harks back to the Nineties, to be more specific. It’s an era where the music played on MTV shapes the taste of an entire generation as the youth revel in the freedom to express themselves. It’s all about the mixture of New York’s early hip hop scene and the irreverence of grunge kids, always riffing on what’s happening on the street.

Fast forward to 2021, now the likes of Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner are being photographed evoking Nineties’ style sporting bucket hats and bike shorts just like the It girls before them. And more so than often logo pieces are included as part of their street style arsenal.
