Are tight and tiny baby tees from the Y2Ks making a comeback?

Could this be the biggest t-shirt trend to reign supreme in 2021?

Baby Tees From The Y2Ks

Ahhh, the noughts. There’s no denying, however inexplicable it may be to the people who lived through the 2000s, that Y2K fashion is back. This trend has picked up rapid steam both on and off the runways.

At recent fashion weeks, see the reprisal of 2000s pop-star aesthetics at Versace, or perhaps the very right-for-the-times revival of bratty-rich-b***h fashion at the house of Blumarine.

The easiest way into this trend also happens to be one that teenagers are already sporting today: baby tees. For the uninitiated: baby tees are, essentially, a T-shirt with a shrunken fit. The lengths are shorter, the sleeves generally tighter, and it should fit ever so slightly too snug.

If you’re daring enough, you might try shrinking your own T-shirts – but no guarantees on results, though you might consider a touch of embroidery if you’re in the crafting mood – or go hunting for vintage.

For a surer way to ace this look, (low-rise jeans as pairing highly-suggested) look no further than these picks below.
