One of the honorary co-chairs of the Met Gala 2018, Amal Clooney showed up on the arms of her husband, George Clooney, turning heads in a stunning bustier top that featured a long floral train with a stained glass effect. And in a surprising twist, the top was worn over a sleek pair of cigarette pants.

 

The human rights lawyer chose to wear pants "was her way of depicting female empowerment and modern religion by referencing the stringent oppression that women faced," designer Richard Quinn told Harpers Bazaar.

 

George, who was dressed in a classic tux, was seen providing a supporting arm throughout their time on the red carpet, so sweet!

Looking completely smitten with each other, the photogenic duo brought their best look forward in Tommy Hilfiger - with Hailey in an ethereal off-the-shoulder gown that showed off her long stems, while Shawn somehow made maroon look good in his double-breasted suit. 

 

The singer was spotted on numerous occasions thoughtfully adjusting Hailey's train and side-stepping it so that she could move and pose comfortably - which is the type of romance we'd sign up for!

With smiles all around, Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper attended the gala hand in hand for the first time since they started their relationship in 2015. 

Irina looked gorgeous in a gold Atelier Versace dress with a plunging neckline, beaded bodice and a pleated skirt that seem made for her, while her leading man came in a classic and stylish Tom Ford mohair tuxedo (who only had eyes for her, clearly!). 

The couple welcomed their first child at the end of March last year, and while they've not confirmed a wedding date, the model has been seen wearing an emerald engagement ring since late 2016.
