The only way we can ever fulfill our childhood dreams of being a Disney princess is if we applied for a job at Disneyland, but even then, we have to be pretty talented actors to even qualify. Conques, France. The production designer of the fairy tale's recent live-action remake, Sarah Greenwood, based Belle's hometown off this quaint village situated in the south of France. Medieval-style architecture and cobblestone streets lend to the charm of the place.

Neuschwanstein Castle, Bavaria, Germany. The nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival palace is surrounded by a hilly landscape and was the inspiration behind Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty castle.

Chateau de Chambord, Loire Valley, France. The impressive, ominous facade was what drove animator Glen Kleane to recreate the iconic Beast's castle in the 1991 animation. Coincidentally, the production team behind the live-action remake of the film also paid a visit to this opulent French castle.
