Some couples are reluctant to have kids as part of their wedding celebrations, especially if they prefer to have all aspects of the wedding under control; children tend to be unpredictable.
But it's their unpredictable behaviour that adds charm to your celebrations. And children do love festive occasions (if they're not too tired to enjoy them) so they would mainly be a in a good mood throughout the occasion.
The best way to get kids involved is to have them be part of your thematic celebrations; if you're planning a wedding with cartoon characters (like Miss Tam Chiak's), it would be great to have the kids dress up as their fave characters. Here are some ideas.
Planning for a romantic celebration all dressed in pastel hues? Have your flowers girls dressed up in pink ballerina costumes or pretty dresses with fluffy tutus! More than just having kids get dressed in the colour palette of your choice, it would be more interesting for them to be dressed in 'character' they can have fun with - ballerinas!

Having a glamorous celebration? Well Jon Leong did and he got his nephews and nieces all dressed up in their smartest outfits and looking so cute!
There seem to be quite a few movie-themed weddings these days - especially Star Wars themed celebrations! Get the kids who are invited to your wedding dressed up in their favourite Star Wars character - or they could just wear tees with pictures of R2D2 or Princess Leia!

There's nothing quite like children all dressed up with floral wreaths on their heads (if you're having a outdoor garden wedding) or pretty corsages pinned to their outfits (for more formal dos) You can have a florist on standby to help the kids created their floral accessories of their choice, or have them make it themselves with fabric flowers at a DIY table.
