3 new clutch bags from Alexander McQueen

For Spring 2014, luxury brand Alexander McQueen is launching three new, fabulous bags ‒ the Tassel Skull Clutch (pictured below), the Sphere Skull Clutch and the Hexagon Clutch. Each one is a brand new shape for the brand’s clutch bags, and not to be missed.

The inspiration for the new bags came from the Spring Summer 2014 catwalk collection, that was itself inspired by the progressive art movements of the early 20th century.

Bold colour, primitive shapes and graphic forms, all gathered from art, can clearly be seen in the new bag shapes. On top of the new shapes comes the inclusion of new materials like plexiglass, feather embroidery and beadwork, coupled with signature Alexander McQueen craftsmanship. 

This is the first time the brand has introduced new clutch bag shapes since the launch of its iconic Skull Box clutch for Autumn Winter 2007 and the long Knuckle Box clutch in Autumn Winter 2009.
