Remember those ever-popular spunky unicorns, cacti and more adorable Japanese-style characters by Tokidoki? To mark LeSportsac’s 40th anniversary, the Tokidoki artist Simone Legno has teamed up with the American nylon bag and accessories brand again, for a collection packed with that big-eyed cuteness.
Available in Lesportsac stores from September 2014, the Tokidoki LeSportsac Fall 2014 line features the signature Tokidoki characters in all that Harajuku-esque vibrancy.
For this new collection, the Italian artist has also added another kawaii critter to the colourful Tokidoki character line-up.
Meet Palette the snow leopard, a character said to quite literally wear her heart on her sleeve, as her floral patches turn from a set of technicolour hues to another, depending on her mood.

Dare to wear the Palette bear-shaped backpack; else there are more “everyday” tote bag and backpack options too, in travel-friendly styles that may just be your go-to bag for your next trip. You’ll find Palette among the crowd of Tokidoki characters on these colourful printed bags and pouches; it’s featured as an oversized bear-shaped keyring too.
“We are thrilled to partner with LeSportsac again and be a part of their 40th Anniversary,” says the artist. “To create a new character, Palette, to debut with LeSportsac, is my gift to all of the tokidoki and LeSportsac fans who have continued to express their hopes that we would one day work together again.”
The Italian artist had first collaborated with LeSportsac in 2006, which made his Japanese-style illustrations almost ubiquitous as new and old fans scrambled for these LeSportsac nylon bags.
